Ventilation of bumblebee. Sealing of the ventilation pipe by corpus hive.

Description

It is advisable to seal the ventilation pipe through the wall of the hive, as the parasites could also penetrate the nest with a tiny gap.

Designed for an outer diameter of 50mm.

This kit allows:

• Easy to mount without glue.
• Disassembled assembly. Ventilation can be disassembled and cleaned.
• If you disinfect the bumblebee after the season, there is no risk of damage to components after dismantling the ventilation assembly (especially fine charcoal mesh.)
• The soft cutting edge ensures tightness, even if the wood “practices” the hive due to changes in moisture and heat.

Kit has two components.

1. Fixed frame (PetG-CF material).
2. Soft sealing ring with carbon blades (TPU material of 30D hardness according to Shore scale)
